Simple Device Discovery Protocol

Control4^®Simple Device Discovery Protocol (SDDP) is software that is built into a manufacturer's product to make integration with a Control4 system easy and seamless. With SDDP, the Control4 home automation system automatically finds and adds SDDP-enabled devices to the platform, dramatically reducing complexity and the installation time for Control4 dealers. Manufacturers can market the SDDP-enabled products as 'automation-ready' and consumers can rest assured that their favorite solutions, regardless of brand, can be added to their Control4 systems. Sky is British satellite broadcast service provider. Chowmain has developed an IP based driver that provides control over UK based Sky set top boxes. This IP driver eliminates the need to attach infra red emitters to the set top box and is compatible with the Sky+ HD, Sky Q and Sky Q mini boxes. On top of IP control we also provide a replacement RF_SKY cloud which has HD cover art, now playing meta data for all channels, always has upto date channels without importing into Control4.
